Business Meeting Discussion

No matter which service you choose, every client of ANP Health Solutions receives
personalized support, education, and guidance tailored to their unique needs. We help clients understand their healthcare options, navigate complex medical systems, coordinate care, and make informed decisions. Beyond advocacy, our clients benefit from clarity, reassurance, communication support with providers, and access to professional insights that empower them to take control of their health and well-being.

Advocacy-Only Health Services

Independent, Non-Clinical Support
Advocacy-only services focus on support, coordination, education, and system
navigation. In this role, the Nurse Practitioner functions solely as a health
advocate, not as a treating medical provider.

Scope of Advocacy-Only Services

  • Helping clients navigate the healthcare system

  • Explaining medical terminology, test results, and care plans in plain language

  • Preparing clients for medical appointments (questions, priorities, documentation)

  • Attending appointments as a support person (in person or virtually, when permitted)

  • Facilitating communication between clients, families, and healthcare providers

  • Assisting with referrals, insurance issues, and care coordination

  • Supporting informed decision-making without directing or providing medical treatment

Important Notes

  • No medical diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, or clinical decision-making occurs

  • No provider–patient relationship is established

  • All medical care remains the responsibility of the client’s chosen healthcare providers

  • Services are advocacy-based, even though the advocate holds clinical licensure

Advocacy-only services are ideal for clients who want support and clarity while
continuing care exclusively with their existing providers.

Medical Records Review ONLY with LIMITED LIABILITY opinion

For clients seeking guidance without direct clinical care, ANP Health Solutions
offers medical record review services for clients in Marquette County, Michigan,
and the Upper Peninsula. We review records, summarize key findings, and provide
a limited nurse practitioner–led opinion to help clients better understand their
medical history and care options.

Please note that these services are informational only and do not constitute a full medical diagnosis or treatment plan, and liability is limited to the review and guidance provided. This option is ideal for individuals, families, or caregivers who need clarity, insight, and informed guidance from a healthcare professional.

OUR PROCESS

ANP Health Solution Services Advocacy Process

1. Comprehensive Initial Consultation

An in-depth intake consultation (approximately two hours) is conducted to assess the client’s healthcare history, current challenges, goals of care, and treatment preferences. Required documentation and consent forms are reviewed and completed upon intake.

2. Goal Development and Needs Assessment

Clear, measurable healthcare goals are established in collaboration with the client. Relevant medical records are requested and systematically reviewed to identify care gaps, potential risks, and areas where advocacy intervention may be beneficial. Goals are frequently revisited and refined as needed based on findings.

3. Care Coordination and Clinical Preparation

ANP Health Solution Services facilitates communication and coordination among healthcare providers, specialists, hospitals, and allied health services. This includes managing referrals, appointment scheduling, and clinical preparation, as well as attending appointments when requested.

4. Clinical Education, Advocacy, and Issue Resolution

Medical information, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations are translated into clear, understandable language. Advocacy efforts focus on ensuring patient-centered, goal-concordant care. Identified concerns or conflicts within the care continuum are addressed promptly and professionally.

5. Ongoing Monitoring, Family Engagement, and Continuous Advocacy

Client progress and treatment outcomes are continuously monitored. Care plans are reviewed and adjusted as necessary to reflect changes in condition or goals. Families and caregivers are engaged and informed to support decision-making, particularly when geographically distant. Advocacy services remain ongoing to ensure sustained alignment with the client’s preferences and best interests.
