Who We Are
ANP Health Solutions is a nurse practitioner–led healthcare advocacy and support service serving individuals and families throughout Marquette County, Michigan, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (U.P.). We specialize in healthcare advocacy, care coordination, and limited nurse practitioner–led clinical services, helping clients navigate today’s increasingly complex healthcare system with clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.
As healthcare systems continue to grow more complicated, many people struggle to manage medical appointments, understand care plans, or communicate effectively with providers. ANP Health Solutions exists to bridge that gap, providing trusted, professional advocacy so clients can focus on their health and well-being rather than the system surrounding them. Our services are especially valuable for seniors, individuals living with chronic or serious illnesses, Veterans, and families who want reassurance that their loved ones are supported.
At the heart of ANP Health Solutions is a strong commitment to community. We are establishing the Community Advocacy Fund to ensure that individuals with limited or fixed incomes can access advocacy services at a reduced rate or on a pro bono basis. We believe that access to knowledgeable healthcare advocacy and support should be available to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances.

As a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), our founder brings advanced medical knowledge, real-world clinical experience, and compassionate guidance to every client interaction. This allows us to provide a higher level of support than traditional advocacy services, offering both education and actionable clinical insight to help clients make informed healthcare decisions.

Diane Dix, FNP-C
Founder of ANP Health Solutions | Marquette County, Michigan Diane Dix, FNP-C, is a highly experienced Family Nurse Practitioner and healthcare advocate serving individuals and families throughout Marquette County, Michigan and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (U.P.). With nearly 25 years of nursing experience, Diane brings a unique blend of advanced clinical knowledge, compassionate care, and unwavering patient advocacy to every client she serves.
A Foundation Built on Clinical Excellence
From an early age, Diane was drawn to the complexity and resilience of the human body. This curiosity—paired with a deep desire to help others—led her into nursing and ultimately into advanced practice. She spent more than a decade as a bedside nurse in high-acuity hospital settings, including:

These roles sharpened her clinical judgment and reinforced a guiding principle that still defines her work today: patients achieve the best outcomes when they are heard, educated, and strongly advocated for.
Leadership, Community Care, and Rural Health Insight
After 12 years at the bedside, Diane transitioned into hospital leadership as a Stroke
Coordinator, where she ensured high-quality, evidence-based care across the full continuum of treatment.
She later expanded her expertise through home health and hospice nursing, gaining firsthand insight into the real-world challenges patients and families face after hospital discharge—particularly in rural Upper Peninsula communities where access to care and clear guidance can be limited.
Becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner
Driven to make a greater impact, Diane earned her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse
Practitioner (FNP-C). Following graduation, she founded a direct primary care practice,
offering a patient-centered healthcare model focused on:

During this time, she also contracted with the Department of Defense Veterans Affairs Office, performing VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams, further strengthening her
commitment to Veteran advocacy and equitable healthcare.
The Heart Behind ANP Health Solutions
ANP Health Solutions was created from both professional insight and profound personal loss.
On November 4, 2022, Diane’s daughters were involved in a tragic accident, and her 16-year- old daughter lost her life. In the midst of unimaginable grief, Diane sought a way to honor her daughter’s legacy while redefining her purpose in healthcare.
ANP represents her daughter’s initials, symbolized by the angel wings in the ANP Health
Solutions logo—a reminder that her daughter walks beside her in every patient interaction and advocacy effort.
Through years of listening to patient and family stories—and through personal experience— Diane identified a critical gap in modern healthcare: true patient advocacy. Too often,
individuals are left navigating complex medical systems without clear explanations, support, or someone solely focused on their best interests.
This reality had been reinforced years earlier during a life-threatening situation involving
Diane’s own father. When he was nearly discharged despite a dangerous cardiac history, Diane’s clinical knowledge and determination ensured appropriate cardiology intervention—ultimately saving his life. Without advocacy, the outcome could have been devastating.
